For an overview, please find below a fact sheet detailing the following procedure available for download.
Our Team Inaugural Lectures is happy to assist you with any remaining questions.
When using the existing lecture hall computers, a UZH account ('AD account') is mandatory. If no UZH account is known/active, it is necessary to bring your own device. This device should have an HDMI port. If no port is available, please equip your device with an HDMI adapter as well as a spare adapter from a different brand. You may bring a digital presenter if needed (laser pointers are legally prohibited).
It is expected that the existing lecture hall computers will remain in use until July 2024. However, due to the age of the lecture hall computers, you may experience technical problems or individual outages. We therefore recommend that you connect your own device for your inaugural lecture.

We recommend organizing a technical trial run in the auditorium before your inaugural lecture. As optimal preparation, you can test the technical components with the Team Event Service.
Please contact the Room Allocation Services team as early as possible (ideally before the start of the semester) to arrange a date for this.
The introduction will be delivered by a faculty member - typically by the dean or vice dean. Please contact the relevant dean's office for the organization of the introductory speech.
The event service places an elegant bouquet of artificial flowers next to the lectern prior to the lecture. Upon request, we can provide you with photos so you can get an impression. If you desire a different flower arrangement, feel free to contact the Inaugural Lecture Team. You will receive the necessary information to organize the flowers.
