The following list gives you an overview of the guided and self-guided tours on offer at the University of Zurich, its libraries, museums and various departments.

Archaeological Collection
On request: individual guided tours for groups at company events, club outings or school excursions.
Guided tours are offered in German, English, French and Italian.

Botanical Garden
Wide range of different guided tours:
- Public guided tours (every 2 weeks Tuesday, 12.30-1 pm / 1 time per month Thursday, 6-7 pm)
- Guided tours for groups: different offers in the old and new gardens
- Guided tours for school classes: on various topics (also available in English)
- Guided tours for teachers (further education)
- Special guided tours: Winter tropical magic, spice plants from all over the world with tasting, foray into fragrant plants
Guided tours for groups and school classes can be booked in German or English, and can also be organized in French or Italian on request. Public tours are generally offered in German, but some are also conducted in English (depending on the speaker).

Natural History Museum
The Natural History Museum, newly opened in March 2024, unites the museums of anthropology, botany, palaeontology and zoology.
Free guided tours without advance booking:
- Weekly, public guided tours: Sundays 11:30, duration: 1h, on various topics. Conducted by students.
- Knowledge to go, Thursdays, 6 pm, duration: 30 minutes

University of Zurich Main building
You can explore the main building of the University of Zurich on your own using the multimedia guide or the sightseeing brochure:
Multimedia Guide of the Haus der Wissenschaft
Choose between two tour options:
- The "ArchitekTour" informs you about the special features of the main building by means of audio commentaries, texts, pictures and videos.
- The "HörspielTour" is an audio-only tour with dialog, anecdotes and music. It lasts just under 50 minutes and is also suitable for families.
- Both tours include 22 stations and a map showing you where the stations are located and the route guide describing how to get from one station to the next. The stations are marked with information boards. You can change the tour variant at any time and determine the sequence of stations yourself.
