Catering

Not all catering is the same. Welcome drink, snacks or multi-course menu? Coffee breaks, finger food, buffet or a gala dinner? Served or self-service? There are numerous options for spoiling guests. Catering should therefore be defined and planned early on.

Where is catering possible?

Food/catering is not permitted in seminar rooms and lecture halls, but it may be allowed in certain rooms. In general, defined areas have been provided for catering.

Please clarify the options in advance with Room Allocation Services.

Which caterers are available?

In general, you are free to choose whatever catering company you want.

ZFV

ZFV would be pleased to help you on-site with your event. It can also provide you with the necessary infrastructure.

External caterers

If you would like to hire an external caterer, please contact the responsible Event Management team in advance to find out about the following options:
- Arrival
- Storage (only possible in the City Campus main building)
- Electricity connections
- Provision of infrastructure (only possible in Irchel and City Campus main building)

These services are subject to a fee.

How can sustainable catering be offered?

If you would like to offer your guests sustainable catering, please note the Sustainable Catering guidelines. These guidelines were approved by the Executive Board of the University on 21 March 2017.
