Dies academicus

Dies academicus, the founding day of the University of Zurich, is the festive highlight of UZH's annual calendar. The celebration always takes place in spring.

At the ceremony, outstanding personalities are honored with the award of honorary doctorates, honorary senators of the UZH are appointed, and prizes are awarded for outstanding scientific work.
