Newly appointed professors and privatdozents usually get an opportunity to hold an inaugural lecture within a year of their appointment. The inaugural lectures offer a fascinating insight into the thematic diversity of UZH.
Inaugural lectures are held during the lecture period on Monday evenings and Saturday mornings in the main lecture hall (KOL-G-201). They last approximately 45 minutes.
Inaugural lectures are open to the public and free of charge.
